The Academy ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website. This policy explains what information, if any, is collected when you use academyota.com and how it is used. This site is primarily an informational resource for prospective and current families: it is not a portal for student data.

We keep data collection intentionally minimal.

• No public accounts. Visitors do not create accounts on this site. There is no public sign-up, no membership area, and no collection of visitor contact information through this website.
• Admissions inquiries. The "Inquire" button links out to our third-party admissions system (TADS). Any information you submit there is governed by TADS's own privacy policy, not this one.
• Staff and administrator accounts. A small number of Academy staff have private administrator accounts used to manage site content. For those accounts we store an email address and a securely hashed password with our backend provider. No student, parent, or visitor accounts are stored.
• Site content, media, and documents. Content, photos, videos, calendar events, banners, alerts, and handbook documents published to the site are stored so they can be displayed to visitors. These are intentionally public.
• Local browser storage. We use your browser's local storage and session storage for small, non-identifying preferences, such as your accessibility settings and a flag that prevents the same site alert from popping up twice in one visit. These stay on your device and are not transmitted to us.
• Hosting request logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information for each request (such as IP address, user agent, and timestamp) to operate the service and protect against abuse. We do not use this data for marketing or advertising.
• No third-party analytics or advertising cookies. This website does not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or advertising trackers.

Administrator credentials are used solely to authenticate staff who manage the website. Local preferences are used to remember your accessibility choices and alert dismissals on your device. Hosting logs are used to operate and secure the site.

We do not sell, rent, or share information collected through this website. Links to third-party services (for example the TADS admissions system, ParentSquare, our lunch-order vendor, or uniform provider) will take you to those companies' websites, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

This website does not knowingly collect personal information from children. There are no student accounts or student-facing data-entry forms on the site. Records related to enrolled students are handled separately by the school through our secure school-management systems, not through this public website.

The site is served over HTTPS. Administrator credentials are managed by our backend provider using industry-standard password hashing. Administrator accounts are retained until removed by the school. Published site content is retained for as long as it is relevant to current or prospective families.
