Yes, we teach with the CCSS as a guide and hit all the criteria and then go well beyond. The question is whether the Public Schools will be as intellectually and culturally responsive and ready for our students. We teach critical thinking and process driven learning providing agency and confidence in self-advocacy.

We conduct weekly testing. Our teachers run a tight ship! We keep records in EVERY subject weekly in the form of both formative and in the moment assessments. When a student in any subject gets a score below 83% or a B-, a protocol is engaged to lift the learner in intensive one to one learning to ensure the learner is reaching our target of 95 % on assessments indicating mastery learning.
